This week I continued reading Soul Cravings. I can't stand this book anymore. I feel depraved from reading these explanations of why people believe God exist. To me, God is a figment of people's imagination. This is because I've garnered information about the truth of god over the years and have been led to believe he doesnt exist. Maybe this makes me less mundane but I have a good arguement for my reasoning. If I could change anything about this bok it would be that there were more entries of people being atheist compared to them all having stupid (to me) arguements. And, its not that I don't like reading about both sides but the nuance of the arguements makes the book boring.
i was reading Murder ont he Orient Express a Hercule Poirot Mystery by Agatha Christie. The characters in this book are very sumptuous. the idiosyncrasy of the book is that some of the sentences are in french and i feel like i;m missing out on a lot of the story. that i definitely one thing i would change. the detective, Hercules Poirot, has a penchant for random people who are having esoteric conversations. one such conversation includes reputed Americans with their "smiling mouths that displayed a very white set of false teeth-". i've only gotten to page 26 and i plan on not reading anymore of it because it is very tedious and boring.
I was reading tears of a tiger. And oh man, was it intense. The first chapter i wa slike ,"this is gay its just gangster talk."..lol. but then it got intresting in the seconded chapter. I got up to where Andy gose to a shrink..whose blakc. (i dont know why, but some reason that impresses people? tons of black peopel do what white people ...its not teh slaves days anymore, we're all equal the nuance of our skin tones shouldnt matter.) If i was to turn this into a movie I wouldnt change a thing except for two. First, I would try to clear up the dialoug. Like not so much slang but still slnag or else it takes away form the book and who they are. Seconded, I would show the scenes that they write about for some chapters. Like how Rhonda wrote an English homework paaper and a letter to Saundri. I would shopw scenes while sehs reading what sehs writing . I would also show the acident scene in different perspectives of each person, allowing them to see things that maybe they thought were there but only a figment of there imagination. Then later they garner clues to what really ahppendd. The idiosyncrasy of the book that wouldnt be in the movie is how people tlak and its not really letting you know whsoe doing the talking...like there'll be dots and then they answer a question someone asked but u dont know what that question was. In the movie you would be able to tell wht the question was cause thered be someone there asking it.the sumptuous moral of the story is to not drink and drive, and it would remain the same in the movie.
and yeah i dont know why i did a thing about chanign it into a movie, maybe its beacuse of the whole Beowulf thing.lol.
If I were to change my book in any way, it would be to limited the esoteric historical references that are ubiquitous throughout the novel. The author must have had a penchant for the Jacobite Rebellions in 1745, for she delineates it heavily in the book. The reputed story is that the Jacobites wanted to restore the Stuarts to the throne but were unsuccessful. The depraved rebellion failed but killed many and left them in hallow graves. Although it is confusing and I had to do some serious research on the rebellion, I will have to admit that the fecund plot is very interesting, and I am thoroughly enjoying the book!
i dont know how i would change 'see you later.' the boy in the book is lacking the acuity to see that tere is somethin not rite about his 'new friends.' The first girl is obviously depraved, as she broke a girl n guy up because she thought it would be cool. and yet, the book captures my attention. i mean, the main guy has a perchant to the main girl, but the main girl has this guy named 'vincent.' it gets kinda confusing when you try to see the nuance between te characters. the only thing i would change would be the main character's personality. oh, and i wouldnt make vincent so sumptuous. he owns a ferrari and a huge house.
This week I started rereading the last Harry Potter book, the seventh one. Anyway, I think it is a crying ignominy that she (J.K. Rowling) didn't kill Harry. You might see me as depraved, but I think that dude deserved to die. It would've been a fitting ending. However, she didn't have the acuity to know how to finish the series. In my opinion, her not killing Harry enervates the whole feel of this series. She did kill many other characters, but hallowed Harry. Why did she cave to the fiats of her fans? If it were me, I would say forget them and kill him off. That is the way this series should've ended. However, many do not share my credence. (Ha, used some vocab from unit 3. Doesn't hurt to review right!)
this week i read an older article but still good on brett farve and how he came out of retiremnet to play in the nfl, my thoughts on this article are i think green bay made the right decision to let him go play for someone else and to help out arron rodgers and see what he can do but i still think it was a smart move on green bays part the jets also benefited by aquireing a future hall of fame player which benefits him becaus ehe has great knowlage and can mentore some of the younger players.
I read In the Time of the butterflies. This book did not show and ignominy to literature. Instead this book is fecund! The book is about a group of girls that are all sisters. The main character, who is reputed, is the youngest of the 3 sisters. The older sister, patria, has a penchant to a nun school. So their father sends them all to the school. The main character described herself as a rabbit in a cage because of the school. Since the title is In the Time of the Butterflies. I thought that butterflies would be ubiutous throughout the book. The three sister have a slight nuance in height.I thought this book seamed a little boring but good books usually don't get interesting barely into the second chapter. I would change the book by makeing it more interesting. I would make the children have to go to military school instead just because it would make it interesting. I would also put more animals in the book and talk a little bit more about how the characters have a spanish background.
The book i started to read today was called Nights in Rodanthe by Nicholas Sparks. So far the author has realy delineated the story very well. The mom Adrienne has estoric secrets from her past about Rodanthe and a man named Paul. I would change that hte daughter Amanda doesn't enervate after her parents divorce. Another thing I would change would be that Adrienne garners more memories from Rodanthe. The last thing I would change would be the ubiquitous sadness that occurs because of deaths or changes in the characters lives.
Boone Creek, the city where my book takes place, is reputed but after Jeremy moves there he starts to think differently. In the book, Rodney has a penchant for Jeremys fience, Lexie. Jeremys character is starting to annoy me because he keeps spying on Lexie to make sure she is not cheeting on him. After checking up on her, Jeremy has ignominy because she is always being truthful. Jeremys actions are enervating Lexie because she knows her own fience doesnt trust her. Jeremy will always make up a sophistry to tell Lexie, that she is starting to get mad at him. I hope Jeremy starts to chill out and trust Lexie more because if he doesn't, they will probably break up.
I am currently reading A Dirty Secret. Its about a kid that really has no friends,is always getting made fun of and shows ignominy for himself. He does have 2 friends and they have a very esoteric relationship meaning they really only understand eachother. The auther of this book is very delineate in describing how this kid feels about people and also himself. If I was to change this story it would be about a kid that is very overweening and sumptuous but still gets made fun of. I would also make this bok have a little more action in it. I'm still in the beginning of it so mabe it will speed up a little bit.
Trish i know what you mean, ha. for some reason those bigs grab our attention. It seems like im always redaing a book about confusing drama and hook ups. That book dose sound good. Did you get from the back of mrs.stallman's room? You know, by the "bad kids ashes" jar...the one that scares me? lol. But yeah the book..it seems quite intresting.
I don't know if we're supposed to blog today or not, so here goes.
Kayla, My brother read that book and he went nuts over it. He kept saying that it was the greatest piece of literature ever. Which is interesting, seeing how he almost never reads.
Mrs. Stallman, Reading a book that requires a lot of research is always fun. That way you learn new things.
Kayla- That book does sounds like it would make a decent movie. It sounds like a fecund story.
Dylan- Even though the fans are ubiquitous, I've never really been one. I found those books to be boring and mundane, but maybe I'm just so depraved that I can't find joy in a book with moral value unless I can twist it into something demented.
Kayla, ive read your book before but i was a long time ago so i dont really remember what its about. ive been wanting to read it again lately because i remembered that is was a really good book.
dylan- you are a depraved lunatic!!!How can you want Harry to die!! The ending is good the way it is!! it is cute that harry gets ginny and they have 3 kids!None can live while the other survives! Did you want voldemort to live?? good god man!
Derek, i agree with you about the god thing and the book that u were reading does sound pretty boring lol Dylan, i really dont like harry potter at all iv watched like one of the movies and i really cant stand that magic stuff it just kinda annoys me ha...but yepp:o
The book that yerr reading sounds pretty good,. If I would have known there was gangsterr talk in it I would have deffintily picked it to read ha:) I think makin a moviee based on the book sounds like a good ideaa, . It could maybee clearr up the slangg in the story iff it becamee a moviee ,? Well keep my up to date on whats goinn onn in yerr bookk:)
Dylan- Your blog made me so upset! I love Harry Potter so much, I can't believe you want him to die! I've read all the books besides the seventh one and I didn't know he doesn't die, but it's ok because I was going to find out sooner or later. I'm excited to read it and find out how the series ends. I'm curious to see who ends up dying because I heard a lot of people get killed.
Kayla, do u plan on reading more of that book? I've read it before and it's pretty good actually. And dylan, I agree. I think the Harry Potter series would be better if he eventually was killed off. And the book A Dirty Secret sounds good.
This week I read a book called midnight magic. The things I would change about the book is that I would start by putting the college experiences first instead up making it esoteric to the readers, so they could know why things are the way they are in the story. I think it would give the book a sumptuous outlook on it. And they would have sold more. Another thing that I would change is the acuity of the main characters vision I wouldn’t have made her blind.
