Reaction to Polonius
What is your reaction to Polonius's decision to tell King Claudius his interpretation of Hamlet's behavior? Does he have an obligation to do so since he is the king's advisor (notice there is NO comma before the word "since")? Should he just stay out of it all together? Should he advice Ophelia on the matter then leave it alone? USE THREE VOCABULARY WORDS TO RESPOND.

RW Sept 17 #1
So...how did the reading go? Anything interesting? Tell us all about it...using one vocabulary word and one of the sentence patterns we have worked on this week (11, 12, or 13). The book I have been reading this week is called Dragonfly in Amber. It is actually the second book in a series...the main plot of the series is about a woman who falls through a crack in time. Into 18th Century Scotland fell the heroine. She stuggles to dissemble her true identity and fights to return to her home. It is a very interesting book because I love the idea of time travel and I like learning about history.

Welcome!
Welcome 11 CP students! This site is going to serve as a fun way to communicate, share, and discuss various topics. To begin, let's conduct a trial discussion on a favorite book. Each student should post at least two comments in response to the topic and to others' comments. Let's begin...one of my favorites is a book called Rebecca. It reads like a ghost story and a mystery. One of the biggest reasons I like it is because it has not one twist, but TWO twists at the end. Just when you think the surprises are over...you are surprised again!
