What kinds of propaganda do you see being employed today? Do you think it is ethical? Why or why not?

The propaganda that I see most now is gay rights. And I see the funny ones telling them that they need to go back in the closet...and then i see the stupid ones with two guys kissing. I think moraly this is very wrong because its letting little kids witness sinful behaviore. They dont need to see that and think its noraml because its not. no one is born gay. sometimes people are liek so into this whole gay stuff they pschy themselves into thinkgin that they're gay. Theres that new movie out with teh gay guy and evey critic thinks its good to take a stand. well all teh famouse people think its great but they wont let the people who think its completly morally wrong speak. And if they do its not published. Gays have always been around. go back into the closet and stay there. If your gay well dont tell anyone and people wont want you to go fall off a cliff. Now that gays are being so supported by others the younger kids(like in my time) anre so pro-gay thinking its right. Its gross and messed up and theres nothing right about it. Also if we wanted to get biblically 1 cornthined 9:6 (i think) says that no homesexuals will eb permitted into the gates of haven. \\and thats the worst propaganda that they have out there right now >:(

tis paragraph is also propaganda,
even thought its fact

We see all kinds of propaganda throughout the day. Let me tell you about my day and how much propaganda crap is mixed into it. Ok, I wake up to the radio. Advertisments. Also, its just people wanting me to buy their CD. They'll do a contest and guess what the prize is...dinner at Applebees. (Another Ad) When I sit down to have my Fruit Loops, there's an advertisment for Indiana Jones on the back of the box. Then, on the way to school, more radio. At school, there is propaganda for this and that and this and that. (Come join Pep Club. Join us at FCA. Imagine the man sitting next to you has just been struck by a car, would you give blood? This is a school of excellence. Blah, blah, blah.) Then finally, I come home and go on the computer to blog for English. Loads of pop up ads. Tonight, I'll watch the Buckeyes try to defeat the Longhorns in the Tostitos (Ad) Fiesta Bowl. Probably a million other ads too.

So, I guess what I'm saying is the most common kind of propaganda today is ads. That and teachers knawing your head off to join their clubs. I hate ads.

Oh, by the way, No, I do not think propaganda is ethical. It gets in the way of my football.

well some really good examples of propaganda are television commercials. I don't watch that much t.v. but when I do its loaded with comercials about everything from toys to shampoo. Some commercials are not ethical to me such as products that are a little bit leaning towards issues that small children should not be seeing. Theyre suposed to be funny but it can be akward. Another type of propaganda that is unetgical would be cigarette ads in magazines. They make smoking seam like everyone is doing it but really the amount of people who smoke has decreased.

There is propaganda everywhere you look, on TV commercials, the adds in magazines, at school, and on the radio. Some which can be ethical and some which are not. When it's a fact then its ethical but when its an oppinion its not ethical. Also whn its promoting something like smoking or drinking then its also unethical.

I hate propaganda. It messes everything up! The most common propaganda is bandwagon. propaganda is not ethical and I think there really is NO need for it.

propaganda is in so many places today its crazy..anywhere you go you can see it in stores the tv name it and its probably there..propaganda can be ethical or nonethical it depends of the type of ad..like a food ad that says this is the best food ever! is not ethical..but if its an ad like ibuprofen wil take the pain away! thats ethical because its a fact.

The type of propaganda that i see today is the ones that are always trying to sell something. I see the ones for medicine to help the sick children and the ones that are trying to sell lick stick. I think that it is ethical because it helps people see things and know things that they havnt heard about and the propaganda helps people know what is going in the world.

i think propoganda is ethical because it gives us sonmthing to laugh at and keep us entertained while we are waiting to finish the rest of our shows.

there is a lot of propaganda floating around today, and not all of it is ethical. some of it is made to scare us into buying, listening, or taking something. there are certain ads that i find rediculous, but others are funny. I dont understand why people get so bent out of shape about advertisements because its not like some people that are advertising have a choice. They have to try to make money too.

Common propaganda today consists of ads trying to get you to buy something, Ideals portrayed in movies trying to get you to think a certain way, and political bias on the news. Do I think it's ethical? Absolutely. Propaganda is a way to sell your argument without actually going up to every person and telling them about what you believe. If someone forms an opinion based solely off of propaganda, that's there business, and I bet there just as happy as someone who forms there own opinions.

Depending on the type of propaganda, I think it can be ethical or unethical. If the propaganda is promoting something beneficial to others, I think it's ethical. Propaganda that encourages money, food or even blood donations for people in need is definatly ethical. I believe that unethical propaganda includes advertisments that don't benefit anyone at all besides the company that is selling the rip-off.

Today it seems that sex and alcohol are propaganda to people today. Most men and teen boys watch football and most of the comercials during the games are beer comercials. Many teen girls watch shows like the hills, gossip girl, etc, and all these shows have drugs, sex, and alcohol. it is like the main theme. It is not ethical. It goes against every moral ever taught.
